99 model DS - What to Watch?
I am new and will be buying my first cart. I have narrowed my decision down to a club car brand. I am looking at a 99 model Club Car DS Gas. What things should I look at before buying it? Anything that is a common problem on these models?

Welcome to the forum ztek!!!
There are really no "common" problems with the CC gasser from 99, But you do want to check to see how badly it was beat from the golf coarse, or previous owners! Mostly front suspention (loose, wobbly bushings etc.) Check the underside and the transaxle for excess dirt and oil. and how badly the tires are worn, etc...etc...etc... basically the same as if you were buying a used car! Shawno eh??? My Kampground is in Marion! |

Thanks for the info, lockman1. I've camped in Marion a few times. Had a lot of fun there. Just bought a permanent in Gresham at Captain's Cove. Now I need a Cart.

Re: 99 model DS - What to Watch?
I ran into a bunch of people from the Cove, a couple of weeks back... they seem like a good bunch!
I even went "pricing" permanent sites there a couple of years ago... I can't get better for the price and site that I have, so I'm staying put for now! Post pics of your cart, in "Members Rides" when you get it! |
