Shocks on lifted ezgo

So I got the cart already lifted. I'm not exactly sure what was done to it. I know it has Jakes spindles that look to be about 6 inches of lift. There may be more under there I just haven't noticed yet.

I was looking at the rear thinking of ways to lift it more then I noticed the shocks were fully extended due to the lift. The front seems to be fine, but when I hit bumps the back feels like it has no travel. I can jump on the back and it moves down but locked going up.

Are there any longer shocks that I can put on there so smooth out the ride? I was thinking maybe shocks from a small car or something. Has anyone else had this problem? And what was your solution?
