Does anybody know anything or have used an Argo. Saw one and was looking for more info on them.

The spot where I hunt is a little tough to get to with a cart or 4 wheeler after we get enough snow. I'd thought about a snowmobile, but we have some winters with not much snow, so I hate to have money tied up with something that I may not be able to use much. I thought the Argo would give me something that can go over the snow and still use it in the summer.

An Argo will almost climb a tree. Very versatile machine. They can go from land to water and float. They are real neat.

For me as long as they go across the snow I'll be fine. I don't get a lot of deep stuff, maybe a foot or so with drifts 2 or 3 feet deep. If it will go over that and get me where I want to go, I'd be fine with that. Plus I suppose they'd be good is the loose sand near the river. When that stuff gets dry it's hard for anything to get traction.

Google argo vids and you will see the argo has problems in deep snow unless it has the tracks.
