steering wheel customized
I don't know if you guys have seen how paracord is used to wrap knife handles and axe handles, but I was watching some of the youtube videos on the subject and decided to give it a try on my steering wheel. I think it gives it a personalized touch and the feel is nice as well. This stuff comes in all kinds of colors to match your scheme. I used cord with orange accents to match my painted yamaha emblem seen in the second pic.wrap1.JPG
photo.jpg I plan on changing seat color soon, once i figure out what I want. |

Link to the video? How much cord did you use, neat idea, might have to give this a try.

Re: steering wheel customized
I was thinking about doing this to the seat bars but using a cobra weave. Looks cool.

Re: steering wheel customized
You can get different grades or thickness depending on whether you buy from Walmart camping section or a true outdoors store. I actually bought this at Academy Sports in the marine section. It is thinner than actual 550 grade paracord but I like the reduced bulk. It took 2 spools of 50 ft each to complete. All you need to do is Google search "paracord wrap" and there are tons of videos and instructional articles on how to wrap or weave anything.
