Exclamation Secondary clutch ramps not riding on ramp buttons

It seems after I torque down the secondary clutch (red spring china special clutch from Amazon) it slips when in drive and the ramps of the clutch try to ride on the opposite ramp of the clutch and scrape (not riding on buttons). So i line it all back up and tighten it down but it still shifts and wont ride on the clutch buttons. Do I need to torque it more? I'm using a wrench and helper bar to get it very tight with using my body weight (fat guy).

I will try and post pictures as well..

Even though the Red spring doesn't have "tangs" like stock springs for "preload" settings, you still must get the spring seat ramps on the other side of the sliding sheave before putting in the woodruff key/ the fixed sheave and the nut. IMHO, get rid of the red spring, it will cause only wear problem. Good luck.

I'm thinking that shaft was already cracked, nothing that tightening a bolt would do. Don't feel bad. It happens to the best of us. Oh, and I would not weld that thing. Get a new one.
