Tire Size Suggestion - 04 DS w 4inch lift
Pictures of DS with 4inch lift and tires would be excellent!
I am wondering if 23inch tires would be too large of a look (i know it will fit) for a 4 inch lift. Like too much tire in the wheel well area. Thoughts? I want a 10 -12 inch rim with street or AT tires, not sure if I should do 23, 22 or 20 inch tires. 2004 Club Car DS with 4 inch All Sports lift |

I'd rule out 20s.

These are 12x20" tall all terrains. After doing it, I wish I would have went with 23" tall tires.

2006 DS with double Leaf lithium pack, 4" All Sports lift, 12x7" wheels with 2-5 offset, 23x10x12 Street Fox radials, Double Take body with grills and lights painted white, Double Take dash, 500A Alltrax and Plum Quick Executioner motor, Ausco rear disc brakes and Villager Suite Seats.
If you have rear seat and lead acid batteries, possible clearance at rear if loaded. Cart is currently used on golf course only, the member I built this for never has a bad lie. |

Looks like a well thought out, well put together cart. Any idea what kind of range it has? |

thanks for the replies guys! So 23in may rub in the back with batteries and passangers in the rear seats?
I have an electric cart. How noisy are all terrain tires? This will mainly be used to cruise around the neighborhood. |

Never used AT tires, not allowed on the golf course. All street tires. Just like the noisy Jeep passing you on the road, probably very noisy on golf cart.

Re: Tire Size Suggestion - 04 DS w 4inch lift
Noise is tough to judge cause it’s relative to who’s driving. I was looking for about 6 months for a used set of 22-23” tires with noise being my main concern. I found a few with a fairly mild AT tread but when I talked to the owners about why they are selling it was always cause of the noise. If it’s something that’s gonna bother you and you drive mostly neighborhoods get street tires. I’m crossing my fingers should be getting a delivery from GCTS today with new 12” wheels and 23” Wanda street tires.
