Torquing the flywheel??
23 vanguard already in cart, had to check keyway and now need to torque flywheel back down. Pointers on how to do this with engine in the car, more specifically what to use to keep motor from turning while i torque flywheeel

I always use an impact. Just put some gloves on and hold the flywheel tight onto the shaft. Also put some rotational force toward the timing key, if it's an offset one, to keep it tight in the correct position. Then, just use the impact to tighten. Make sure the threads and nut are super clean. I've never had any issues doing it this way. My impact maxes out just north of most torque specs for the flywheel. If you have an aluminum flywheel....disregard this, the procedure is likely different.
