Default No speed up hills, replaced everything, pulling hair out

1996 Ezgo TXT that runs fine but once you start going up an incline your speed drops drastically. I can make it up the steepest hills at the golf course but at an incredibly slow speed. I know its not just me being paranoid, everyone else in gas and electric carts fly past me.

Bought not too long ago as an old rental for a good price so I expected problems. So far as a part of trying to fix this problem and others I've replaced:
-All 6 batteries
-All 4 tires
-Solenoid
-Controller
-F/R switch
-Battery cables

Thoughts on what is causing this more than normal speed loss on hills?

What are your motor, solenoid, cables, and controller specs? I know you said new batteries but whats the total pack voltage after being charged fully and then unhooked for a night?

It's a series TXT I bet (F/N/R handle by your leg instead of next to the key switch)

Short of a motor upgrade it's only got like walking speed uphill and like 12 mph on level ground.

I think there should be a sticky thread for this topic, when I first joined I made a post about this same thing.....

Welcome to the 36v club...

Before I upgraded to 48v mine would come to a borderline crawl going up any long hills, the longer the worse! It wasn't really how steep it was, it was how long it was! I would lose about 1/2 my speed going up the hills, it was rather frustrating!
