Re: I need bob boyce to program my controller.
When reprogramming by mail, I must use average programming settings. When reprogramming in person, I can fine tune each and every setting to accomodate the drivers driving style, so each is a custom tune.
With the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the fact that I am a senior citizen, I am not too willing to travel very far. I have it from a very reliable source that we may only be weeks away from quarantine zones nationwide, where we may not be allowed freedom of travel in order to slow down the spread. If spread occurs too rapidly, it will overwhelm our medical system capacities in those areas. Survival depends upon quality medical care for those that have more severe reactions. Bob |

Re: I need bob boyce to program my controller.
You would be a better candidate for an Alltrax controller. The stock TXT48 controller is not well suited for delivering enough torque for 23" tires. It actually goes slower on flats and hills with 23" tires than it can go with stock sized tires. It just cannot overcome the 23" tire torque loss due to a lack of max current. 20.5" tires is the max for stock controllers.

Hey Bob is there a huge difference between the mail tune vs. Hands on?

In most cases no difference. Just every now and then there is. Bob has done over a hundred of these mail in's. It's just easier to fix a problem when your doing it live at the cart.
