It is always interesting to see what new buyers here do after the first Green Head season. Again some seasons are much worse than others. Hope I am wrong BUT it looks like it is going to be a BAD this year. More than once the house goes up for sale.

I cut the grass this a.m. I was in the full bugs can't get me clothing. BUT even after I finished the lawn the Green Heads followed me up the stairs and onto the deck. I don't remember them being this aggressive. Not a good sign

My horse fly traps modded for Green Heads are working. Each has more than 9 flies in it.

Trap #1 piling up the bodies. Trap # 2 not so much. Just as in realestate, Location , Location Location is the key.

On the clone subject not to hi jack the OP's question about the wildcat 460 I see the chinese have added quite a few variations beyond the Honda. First of all displacements of 420,440,460 and Duromax now has 500 cc unit. In the predator line a hemi headed version existed. On my JD America 460 unit they added automotive type valve keepers and retainers. And then there is the champion type shaft mounted rocker arms as well as the beefier 10 bolt blocks. Also now it looks like the wildcat and where ever Paul's Karts is getting his blocks they are really heavily ribbed blocks for even more rigidity than the old standard of the VC unit. I think it is more accurate to say they started with a copy of the well engineered Honda unit and really maximized what could be done with it.

Where did you see the Duromax 500?

They are on their 13000 watt generators. I have not seen them for sale as just an engine. In fact many 12000 watt generators including mine have 460's also but again the the engines are not for sale alone.

It was a no cart weekend. We went up to Millville and did our seafood thing at the diner on saturday. GF headed back Philly this a.m. so dressed in my full anti Green Head garb and mowed the grass. That was some smart money buying the netted hat to wear while mowing. A windbreaker and thick socks and jeans completes my mowing suit. Waiting for the dragon flies to arrive as they are the predators that feast on these terrible creatures.

I seen a fellow islander at the post office yesterday in her golf cart. It then dawned on me the Green Heads aren't drawn to a sparky. I need a sparky for Green Head season. With what CP241 has posted about a lithium conversion I am keeping an eye out for a cheap sparky
