1970 cushman customized
Hey guys, going to look at a 70 cushman that has been made into a 4x4 and has a 250 Suzuki engine put in it. Any certain things I should definitely check for on this cart? Also is said to have some sort of 15 speed transmission in it. Thanks guys.

Re: 1970 cushman customized
Well I went and checked out the cushman, it's a 5 speed with low, medium, and high, plus reverse. Runs good. Have to put the front drive shaft and cv joints back in it. Definitely getting it. Needs some of my custom work done to it but a nice project cart.

Re: 1970 cushman customized
I thought I was the only one. I am up to 6 1/2 with the 1/2 being a '79 HD that my brother-in-law just acquired. I am going to have to restore and maintain it because he just isn't good that way.
He is jealous of how cool these old carts are buzzing around the campground and had to get one for himself. Anyone can get some new fancy cart. It takes a certain amount of cool do drive a classic. |
