2017+ Drive2 suspension, lift ?s
Getting ready to pull the trigger on a Drive2 in either Quiet Tech or AC. Somewhat patiently waiting on Jake's to get the long travel lift kit out. The Yamaha website shows that both the AC and EFI have independent rear suspensions. (https://www.yamahagolfcar.com/golf-c...e-drive-2-ptv/). The "Print Info Page" Link indicates that only the EFI has the IRS and the AC has swing arm/ coil over rear suspension (https://www.viewmastercms.com/assets...e2_R1%20HR.pdf)
Can anyone confirm if the AC has IRS? Which should have the smoother ride from the factory? Jake's has 3" and 6" spindle lift kits available for both the AC and EFI versions. For a cart that will only be used off road as a hunting buggy, is the long travel lift kit worth the wait and extra expense over a 6" spindle lift? Jake's site indicates that the long travel lifts are height adjustable, but do not give a range- can I expect a 6-10" lift with the recommended 23-10.5x12 tires? |
