Re: Yamahauler.....
Wilson is a beauty! Being self employed, home office, some days are slower than others, I will probably be starting to read that build as well very soon!
I see you have a Vanguard in Wilson, I am also interested in doing a Vanguard in my G2. From reading your Yamahauler thread I see that you stayed with the stock bike exhaust cause you didn't want it too loud. What muffler are you running on the Vanguard? That is my biggest concern with the Vanguard is how loud I have heard others say they are. I really don't want my cart too loud as I like my neighbors and they still seem to like me. I also like to sometimes go out late on the weekends to play in the bayous and don't want to wake up the neighborhood coming in late on my cart. I'm sure I'll find the info on your muffler in your thread when I read it, but just looking for some info on the muffler and how loud yours is. Thanks for the reply, wasn't sure I'd get one considering how long the thread has been inactive! I love your craftsmanship! |

Re: Yamahauler.....
Blast from the past.........Please don't let your builds sit neglected for YEARS ! After not touching Yamahahauler for 4+ years, my health got better and spent some garage time on it. New battery-check, but the fuel was soooo bad it took out the fuel pump. Found I could use a R1 fuel pump assy at a fraction of the cost of a FZ6 pump. The little ******* is back running again and when the weather gets better.....I'll have to take it out for a "spin" again DON'T NEGLECT YOUR TOY'S !
