Default Best donor cart for project (best make and model)

I'd like to build up a cart with a high-performance motor, lithium batteries, and coil-over suspension. I live in an area where often older broken down carts are available. All kinds.
My question to the community is what is the most economically customizable cart? Ezgo, Club car, Yamaha? Is there a go-to model that you think is best to start with?

Couple of thoughts: Staying with any of the 3 brands you mentioned would be best because they have extensive supply chains of replacement and upgrade parts.
Club Cars will have aluminum frames.
Yamahas' have coil over suspensions from the factory front and back. Some Yamahas have an AC motor, '16 and newer. Very powerful and with the right controller and tires can be in the 30's on 48v FLA batteries. Faster on lithium probably.

As an old junkyard dog, I wouldn't buy anything but a Club Car. Why? Aluminum chassis. No rust and they weigh less.

Scotty B recommends the Ezgo TXT48. What are your thoughts on this?

I know I posted this in "On the road carts," do these recomendations apply for carts with lift kits?

I love your passion for CC! My only beef with them is that their suspension is incredibly harsh. Do you have some magic method of improving ride quality?
