Default 86 Vanster 750 4x4 winter project

Current plan on the vanster is to strip the drive train and convert to a 650 to 750ishcc V-twin along with IFS, IRS and 4x4 out of an atv along with 12 or 14inch rims with 26x12.50 or bigger tires....Yes its gonna sit sorta high with a wider stance. Original drivetrain parts will be for sale also. It Currently runs and drives good.

I plan to remove the engine housing/seat and replace with rzr 1000 seats but leave the cargo/cab divider and mount the atv v-twin between the seats with a dogbox cover/console so as not to protrude in to the cargo area if possible. Ill take whatever donor atv i decide to use (arctic cat 650 or brute fore 650/750) etc and cut into 3 sections consisting of the front section just behind the A-Arm mounts the center section for the motor mounts and the rear section for the IRS. Hope that makes sense.

Ive done a similar conversion on a 150cc yerfdog spiderbox mini dune buggy using a 500cc 4x4 arctic cat atv.

It'll be about this high. Kaw 750 V twin, 4x4, EZGO txt. All Kaw running gear.
I'm running Kaw 700 suspension/frame, and 750 Brute engine. The folid rear axle is desirable for golf carts. IFS is too complicated, and too wobbly in the rear. The frame was 'chopped" into 2 parts. The rear drive is all factory Kaw. Solved a lot of fab work. Even the shock is perfect for what I do.
