Lots of play at end of crankshaft??
I just removed the motor from my G-1 Yahama golf cart- There seems to be a lot of play on the end of the crankshft where the drive belt goes. How mush is excessive?? Will new bearing solve this problem and how hard is it to do?? thanks HerbB2u

Re: Lots of play at end of crankshaft??
Well I found out why there was so much play in my crankshaft-the bearings on the crankshaft had plastic spacers, and when they got hot for some reason- they melted and all the ball bearings went to one side. I hve torn the motor down and am in the process of rebuilding. thanks
