Default tips on engine R&R

ok guys what is quickest way to remove the engine out of 95 metalist, and reinstall new one? remove rear body and attack that way? or unbolt front motor mount, remove wiring ,cables and rear suspension and just slide out from under cart and do it that way?

Keep the body on!

Remove drive and starter belts, remove starter, remove muffler, remove air box assembly, unhook all fuel / pulse lines, remove choke cable from carb, remove govenor linkage / throttle linkages. remove ground wire from motor LH side, remove 2 front, 2 back and 4 bottom bolts - lift out!

Takes about 15 minutes with air tools!

Remove drive clutch when old motor is on bench. BEFORE clutch os put on new motor, be sure to remove the govenor linkage bracket on old motor (back side - partially covered by clutch) and install on new motor.

DO NOT assume that your old linkage, cables and settings will even be remotely close with the new motor!
