Dealer = smoke an mirrors
Yamaha 2018 hitachi DC motor is toast Dealer says any motor you put in must be compatible with the Moric controller. Is that true???? He also said the speed sensor magnet is not available. The magnets on amazon and ebay won't fit.
Again is that true?? Is this just smoke and mirrors? |

Just get an upgraded motor/controller/selanoid and install it yourself.

Re: Dealer = smoke an mirrors
I agree. The Moric control and Hitachi motor is the weakest in the industry. IMHO

Re: Dealer = smoke an mirrors
You can easily get a motor that will work with the Moric controller that includes a compatible speed sensor. My D&D motors that I have in my two G29's worked with the Moric before I upgraded to Alltrax. (and they came with a speed sensor that had the same plug as the Hitachi motors I replaced.)
So that dealer was smoking something. |
