Default 2007 YDRE Navitas Issue

2007 YDRE 48V with Navitas customer brought in with new batteries, tow/run switch, solenoid, and accelerator switch replaced. Basically was throwing g $ at it. When I put in tow mode the controller has a red light and a constant clicking sound. When I put in run I have nothing. The red light is not like a code flashing its more like a low current draw flashing? Anybody had similar issues? This is why I like gas better.. 😆

Test your motor. If it is a Hitachi, the brushes are likely stuck in the retainers. Very common on that cart, especially with an upgraded controller.
Remove motor leads and jumper A1 to F1 then jumper A2 to F2. Apply 12 volts + to A1 and - to A2.
You can also test with a meter. If memory serves, you should read about 2 ohms across F1 and F2 and about the same A1 and A2. Most likely A1 A2 will be open.
The brushes stick in the retainers causing them to wear off and no longer reach the commutator. An easy and quick way to test this on a stock cart, is to give the cart a push with run/tow in run. If the solenoid engages and you don't feel any regen braking resistance, you likely have a motor issue.

No experience with that ( my two G29's have Alltrax controllers ) but that setup should be a good one.

The only time I hear solenoid click is when I turn tow switch to run. Clarify from my 1st post they installed tow/run switch upside down. I've tested gas pedal switch its working as far as a meter says.

I would do the motor test anyway. Easy to do, and rules it out, but those values are good.

Well the new solenoid he installed was clicking when tow/run switch was in run so I decided to put old solenoid back on and finally it let me get into the app and find the Bluetooth controller. Had 2 faults see pics.
Kept turning switch on and off and finally got solid green light still would not go. Pressed gas pedal and took hammer to motor and it started. Stuck brushes like someone stated was probably a lot of it but something wasn't right with the new solenoid also.

Anyway it's going ....for how long not sure?

What would be a good motor to replace this one with?
