Question Yamaha Golf cart gas EFI engine

Looking for any thoughts on a new engine for my 2013 Yamaha gas engine. First off I’m no expert on these carts by any means, just trying to learn about them more and ways to customize more. I believe my model is the G29A, it is a gas EFI engine. I’m looking to replace the engine in the future with another EFI engine with more horsepower and more torque, The cart goes around 20 now but would like to go faster.. I would like to stick to the EFI engines, not a big fan of carburetors. But also I’ve seen other carts that have engines in them that sound like a muscle car, like that sound with the flow master’s exhaust and just muscle, is this possible on a cart like mine? , how would i even go about it?? Any and all advice is much appreciated..

Thanks in advance..

If you're looking for better performance and an increase in speed, and would like to maintain the stock platform, contact Don at plowmanscarts.com

He has clutch and EFI upgrades that will speed up your cart.

Other options are Briggs and Stratton or Honda V-Twin upgrades. There's lots of good info, if you search for it.

My G16, with a 23+hp Briggs Vanguard, with a Cheata cam and rev kit. 45mph, and a lot of fun...
