Install new Alltrax 48300 and Batteries
Hi Guys!
So I'm confused before I even got started good! The new controller comes with a mounting bracket. Awesome! But my holes don't line up?? Replacing Moric, haha thought it was plug and play? What am I missing ... To those that are familiar with my mess lol May the fun begin with Sideways Sam!! |

Ty! I figured it out. I thought the bolts that had the nuts were the ones that went to the bracket, not the case:)

We bought the cart. Did the installation per Alltrax and rewrote the instructions attached. Bummer invalid file !

Re: Install new Alltrax 48300 and Batteries
Controller is installed, lines attached. Now into the real fun stuff! Wires to the solenoid, red yellow and red black on a connector going to red white and red black. Small red from controller to solenoid and battery positive to solenoid. ?
The cart was wired to bypass the controller? Had no solenoid, ran off a bypass trip looking device. So issue #1 I have half the connector to the solenoid wires..the red yellow and red black. I have no red white wire. I see it in the main cluster where it goes to the front of the cart and is attached to where the previous owner "moved the tow switch". Unfortunately this is what happens when you park the cart for 6 months, I don't remember what CartMaster and I did to make it function while I was shopping for the controller. |

Sorry if this seems silly but the red white and red black (other half of the white connector to the solenoid, it seems like they appear into the connector but not the same from the front of the cart?

Re: Install new Alltrax 48300 and Batteries
Another question, is there a way to shorten the red line coming off the controller to the solenoid? I can't get it to connect without putting alot of pressure where it connects at thr controller. It's like the solenoid is too close and the wire is still long and stiff to bend that much..

With your large cable between the controller and solenoid, if it sets better on the big solenoid post further away from the controller rather than the closest one, I am pretty sure you can place it and the large battery cable on either opposite posts on the solenoid as it is just a switch as far as i can see, and just make sure the small red wire feeding the fuse, goes on the same post as the battery cable, not the one to the controller. Does that make sense? Hopefully someone with more knowledge will confirm because as you know, this is not my area of expertise Lol. |

CartMaster!
So I can switch the lines on the large terminals of the solenoid. So does the red white connect to anything besides from the solenoid into the white adapter which has the red yellow? Lol moreless could I cut the white adapter off and put the ring pieces on them to connect to the small terminals on the solenoid? |

Re: Install new Alltrax 48300 and Batteries
As far as i see it that would be no problem at all. Probably better anyway as it removes a possible troublesome unneeded extra connection.
Again hopefully someone can confirm. |
