How funny! Just got home from work and pulled up a photo and was just looking at the side pieces I am missing there. Lol are side pieces suppose to be here lol top frame support..

That’s some kind of aftermarket top as well. Not necessarily bad though. Most older rear seats I’ve seen don’t have those triangular supports.

I'll agree with LukeL. That looks like a Double Take long (80") top, judging from the bit of it I can see in the pictures. The rear struts look home made with those triangle brackets at the roof. I've built quite a few and never have seen that rear strut arrangement. So far as similar triangles at the footboard end, some seat kits do & some don't. I wouldn't worry about it.

I gotcha lol my issue though, it bends if I step on it lol I'm a solid 110 lbs! Maybe a bolt should go here ? Help get all the weight off the bottom frame supports?
