Factory switch is two separate switches in the same housing. Not sure how you can do that with a switch designed to start and stop the motor.

Just use a second switch dedicated for the lights. You will not be able to use the new switch unless you want lights always on with the ignition. In that case use the power out or ACC terminal of the switch if it has one.

New battery and thicker gauge battery and ground cables installed, works perfectly

Now time to route the wiring for the switch and find out how to wire in the factory headlights to the switch

Since there are two open tabs on the switch, I assume it should be easy? Haha

The switch had two remaining unused tabs. With it being a two position switch, like my mower, I'm hoping one postion will be for lights on when the engines running and the other position will be for lights off when the engine is running

It's going to either be the X tab or the L tab

The L tab and X tab doesn't have 12v in any key switch position

I might just run a dedicated switch for the headlights and parking lights

I have the battery installed, the battery tender wired up, and the key switch wiring harness ran to the dash

I also have the exhaust done, just need to find a muffler for a 1-1/2" pipe

Is there such a switch that I can run just the parking lights independently of the headlights, and then run both at the same time together?

It looks like I might need something called a push/pull 3 way 12v switch?

Ultimately, I would like to operate the parking lights independently but I also think for simplicity, just a simple switch to just turn both on at one time will also work. So just a simple on/off toggle?

I have LED headlights and LED parking lights, so the draw shouldn't be too crazy

Tried various spring clamps also for the fuel filter, getting a tiny leak on one side and also at one hose on the fuel pump

I'm going to go back to the worm gear clamp on these two locations and see if the gas leak stops
