Default 2007 YDRE using 20" tires

I did search all posts prior to posting but couldn't find a definitive answer. Has anyone successfully used 215/50-12" tires on a Yamaha YDRE with stock suspension without rubbing? Thanks in advance

I've also been researching the same question but for a 2012.

Some retailers claim they will work, but list the tire as 20.5" tall.

In another thread, the poster has rubbing issues with 225/30R14 that are listed as only being 19.3" tall.

Will the offset play a part? Unfortunately, may retailers don't list the offset.

I was running into the same thing. One retailer said they should work, so I said screw it and ordered them today. I'll let you know what I find out after they come in and I get them mounted.

Using a "Christmas tree" or a screw to pin the rear mud flap to the rear bumper solves many rubbing problems on Drives.
