I even change out the stock motor because it is known to be garbage The cart flys Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

Hey guys. I appreciate all of the info in this thread! It was super helpful in diagnosing my issue. I just finished replacing the brakes on my 2008 YDRE due to horrible brake noise even after replacing the Yamalube. I run at DIY channel on YouTube so I videoed the entire process in detail. Good job on the video. You might want to do the adjustment process on the brake cable now that you have changed the brake discs. There are good adjustments under the floor around the pedal assembly.

How did you guys get the last disk off of that spindle? Is there a bearing puller I need?

I left that disk on the spindle - did not have a press. My discs were not that worn so not replacing one didn't bother me. If you want to replace it, you need a press and the knowledge of how to do it without damaging the ball bearing.

I can’t remember. It’s been so long since I did the repair now. I believe I left the last disc in place.
