Default shaft drive honda 250 swap in yamaha cart

my 1st cart project , swapping motor and rear drive train from an 87 honda 250 fourtrax , to an older yamaha cart ? my first concern , maintaining original axle width ? not able to get longer axles for this model 4wheeler , any sugestions ? what does everyone else usualy do ?

2" wheel spacers are the fix for that. I've seen some 2 1/2" spacers.
Different offset on wheels.

Can you give more info on motor being used (Size, drive type: Clutch, chain, drive shaft, ect) and the type of yamaha cart you have. How much wider do you have to go? Any chance you can integrate the original rear transaxle with the new motor?
As much info you can provide about the build, the more people will be able to give you advice on your possibilities. Pictures spark ideas more than anything.
