Yamaha Gas swap
How tough is a bravo 250 complete swap into my 2002 G16AX? Anybody have any experience doing this swap?

Re: Yamaha Gas swap
I have not done one, but if its a sled engine it is ported and tuned to run at higher rpm's than your presetn engine.
The hardest part may be fitting the tuned exhaust. |

Re: Yamaha Gas swap
Go with the Enticer 250. It will bolt right to the stock G1 crankcase. All the plastic shrouds from the G1 engine will swap over too. You'll keep reverse and avoid messing with the electronics. You'll want to make sure you get a complete Enticer engine so you can rob parts etc. The hardest part will be getting the jetting right. Make sure you use new gaskets and rings.
