Re: G9 meets 425 Polaris Magnum
Right now it is just like a 4 wheeler were you turn the key and then push a button for it to start. Once it is running it stays running and will just idle. I have ordered a turn key ignition that will delete the push a button step and it will be just like a car (off-run-start). I accually took apart the thumb throttle on the 4 wheeler and welded the cable hook from that onto my pedal where the stock cart motor cable hook was. I then welded a nut on the metal bracket so i could adjust the tension like on the thumb throttle box on the 4 wheeler.

Sorry about the quality of some of my pictures. I was so exicted on completing things but still wanted to take pictures that I rushed some of the pictures along. Anything that isn't clear enough let me know and I can get ya the pictures. I have tons of them.

Beautiful man! I will be frequenting this thread when I start my build! I will need to do the lift first. Then, engine upgrade! Where did you order your ignition from and did you have to modify the stock fuel pump?

Re: G9 meets 425 Polaris Magnum
Ebay. It's from a Polaris 300 Sportsman. I think the 800 Sportsman has the same ignition as well. I went on youtube and watched videos of people cranking their 4 wheelers so I could find on that was turn and crank and not turn and push a button. I tried calling my local Polaris dealer and they were no help. I tried going in and cranking a few but after the first one i cranked they weren't a big fan.... haha

No I ran the stock fuel pump from the G9 motor and it seems to keep up pretty good. I have some larger jets and thing that I want to try but thats later down the orad.

I may just keep the push button also... I think it would be pretty bad azz! I would have to get a cool push button though. Like one that lights up. Are you using the Polaris battery or a bigger battery?

Re: G9 meets 425 Polaris Magnum
I have a larger battery. Its in between an atv battery and a car battery since I plan on running some major off road lights...
