Lincoln Mig. I don't have much welding experience until this project so hopefully yall don't hit me too hard on some of the welds. My neighbor is a iron worker and has been guilding me here and there to keep me in line. This is how she sits right now. I have new tires and rims on the way. GP was right, these motors are a blast.

No worries here on the welds or the wiring! Looks good! What are you going to do for the exhaust?

I have a super trapp on it right now. I got it from sandkarts I believe. It's alittle louder than what I would like because I would still like to putt around some campgrounds we go to from time to time. Around the house and woods the exhaust is fine. It is funny to take it out because people don't expect that sound to come from a golf cart. We took it to an atv park and I was getting laughed at as we rode in with it on the trailer. I was told at the gate that I probably wouldn't have much fun do to the trials being difficult for atvs and I came with a golf cart. But when I cranked it up and took off passing atvs on the main road headed to the bath house. I had a crowd around it as I exited the bathroom. haha..

That's usually what happens when you have a "sleeper" style cart! I just left you a comment on your Photobucket account. Need a video of it in action. How fast do you think it goes? 40-45?

Yeah some where around there.Which it has 20" tires on it right now. I'm actually alittle scared to try and max out the speed with the current steering setup. My stock steering gear box has some decent play in it and it gets loose sometimes at high speeds. I'm currently trying to transfer to a rack and pinion setup thanks to JMZ. Hopefully I can get everything for the setup and start on it thus weekend.

Sounds good. Play it safe for right now. You are an hour ahead of me in time. Aren't you supposed to be out drinking somewhere for New Years?

Sounds fun, I mean gives you something to do! I have small questions with my build. Like how did you hook up the throttle cable to the pedal and do you have a key start to where it will sit and idle? Do you still have the choke and speedo hooked up? Kill switch or just the key?Sorry but, the little things worry me... LOL
