Default Yamaha G1 1981 Gas

Looking for the PTO Sheave. Cracked mine trying to take it off. Used puller and heat and still won't budge. Any ideas or part, please reply. Getting tired walking. Crazy

Unhappy Re: Yamaha G1 1981 Gas

HI Ordered new sheave and seals. While I.m waiting for parts is there anything else I could be doing. Another forum said something about BBQ the muffler. Since I have the engine pulled and on the bench how does this BBQ thing work and how do you perform it. Thanks in advance, still walking !!

OK Will put a couple of pics in when done. Right now I'm cookong my muffler on the BBQ. Don't know how long to leave it on. Smoke coming out of both ends. Stinky and my wife is giving me hell. Wonder how long I should leave it on. Rare, Medium or Well Done. Maybe I'll just stop when the smoke stops. Should be done then. Any comments
