Controller Amps for G22
I have a 2003 48 Volt G22 golf cart. I need the controller replaced and they are hard to find right now.
Is there much of a difference in Amps for a controller? I’m not so much worried about speed as much as run time. |

Re: Controller Amps for G22
There is a direct fit 300a (XCT48300) replacement controller from Alltrax, much better than the stock unit, fully adjustable by the owner (incl. more torque/speed).

I too recommend going with Alltrax. You can program everything with a laptop rather than having to pay a dealer to put in speed codes. :-)

Re: Controller Amps for G22
I strongly recommend the Navitas controller.
The controller has a robust design that delivers a true 400 amps of performance. Very simple to install. It utilizes existing mounting holes and comes with all of the hardware required to complete the installation. You can program everything with a smartphone or laptop. The app provides a simple to use interface as well as a full complement of diagnostics. Customer support is fantastic. They actually answer the phone. I have installed many of them and never had a problem. |

(The "Controller Wars")
I think it's great that we have a choice! Competetion for market share helps deliver quality products at competitive prices!! That said I'm an Alltrax fan. Easy to adjust to your settings, and if you need support, Alltrax will also pick up the phone when you call and help you with any controller issues you may have. FWIW |

Are there any other modifications that need to be made with the Alltrax?

Re: Controller Amps for G22
My G22 had a brand new XCT48300 when I bought it. The installation is plug and play. It was quite peppy with the stock motor.
Since then, the motor has been replaced with a Plowmans Riot motor. It's much peppier, now. |
