G19 with alltrax controller blinking 2 red

This is the type of info I am looking for. I was asking questions because I was not trying to throw parts at it. I have called Alltrax a couple of times but have not received a call back. The controller is 10 yrs old so I wasn't sure what type of support it may have.

My old SPM and my SR both use standard usb cables. If you already have an older laptop with a db9 serial port or a serial to usb adapter you may be in luck.

Just my two cents. If you have the cable and can hook it up do so. If not I wouldn’t waste your time. I had the same error on my DCX years ago and Alltrax said yes it was a low temp error but it pretty much was a death sentence.

I think you would need one of these to program it:

But for an old controller it might not be worth it if the error code is likely to be a controller failure.

Depending on your financial situation you could also consider making an offer on this untested controller.. I picked up an untested sr72500 controller a couple weeks ago for about $200 that works great.

That controller won't work in a G19. The G19 is a Sepex drive system.

Good catch. My bad when I heard it was such an old controller for some reason I thought it was a series cart.

For less than $10 it's probably worth a shot. The aggrevating thing is sometimes it will work. My gut tells me the controller is toast.
