EZGO TXT 1997 Lithium Ion Battery pack install
Ok gang. Just completed the my Lithium Ion upgrade. I used RoyPow 36V power cell.
Watched a few videos on You tube, and I came up with the install shown here. (note: I ripped a 1"X12" Board (pics note 1"x10") FYI: I gained 2 mph (top end 24mph). All stock components. Total weight decrease was just at 500lbs. ROYPOW provides mounting brackets. However, when I calculatd the total height, their brackets cause pack to sit a bit to high to use the EZGO underseat tray. So I used the 1/4" x 4" flat bar as shown. I'll have two threads to show all pics. |

Curious where you sourced the ROYPOW pack. Did you buy it online or a local cart shop? Did you have to wait for delivery? Was there any price negotiation?

I bought locally: https://www.primegolfcars.com/ (Riveria Beach location)
He had about 30 in stock (36V), not sure how many 48V. No price negotiation. I paid $2400, that included the charger. Got $102 for old batteries (recycling center), and sold old EZGO charger for $150. |
