2000 EZGO TXT front steering rebuild

2000 EZGO TXT PDS, frame mounted steering, Jakes 5 inch lift kit.

Steering rebuild is mostly a done deal. Everything went together and works like it's supposed to except for the passenger side steering riser. The hole for the tie rod end is wobbled out a little too much and can't get the tie rod end to tighten up. It fits too loose and is going to just keep wobbling the hole out. Gonna' have to call Jakes and talk to them about a new set of risers.

So, the cart ended up with one new hub. New wheel bearings and grease seals on both sides. New king pin bolts, king pin bushings, king pin tubes, and thrust washers on both sides. New rack and pinion and new rack ball joint end. And finally, new tie rods on both sides.

And I would also like to thank whoever it was that posted a link to the repair and service manuals. I'm no stranger to mechanic work but I wouldn't have been able to do this without the repair manual.
