Re: 3D printer thread
I was able to make a template out of cardboard and create a new STL file in solid works. I just printed them and put the first coat of paint. If anyone is interested in then, let me know and I will post. This was done in an 03 DS

Re: 3D printer thread
Here are my 3D printed DS brackets. I had to extend one side of the mirror using longer 1/4 20 bolts. I put the kids names on each side. The old bracket is still mounted to the roof from the previous owner.

Re: 3D printer thread
Working on a new revision of this part. The first one will be done in an hour or so. Ill test the strength and if its good I'll post the file. This part can be used on either side and will take almost 1/4 of the filament to print.
I looked into the blank file I uploaded and I did copy the wrong file. I will post the correct ones shortly. |

Re: 3D printer thread
Ok, here they are truely blank mirror mounts for the CC Precedent.
I'm going to make another rev of this file that will fit any cart that has roof strut mounting holes with spacing between 3-5in apart. Last edited by Jkerle; 12-09-2018 at 11:06 AM.. Reason: Files did not attach |
