Texas Ride
I have noticed that a few Texas members have taken interest in what I call a good old fashioned
"Texas Get Together" I was trying to find a place that I think would be good meeting place for everybody. I have come to the conclusion that Marble Falls would be a great place to be centrally located for everybody. http://www.hiddenfallsadventurepark.com/ This place is amazing! They have trails from Mild to Wild. Camping comes in all different levels from a cabin to primitive camping. Thinks we should use April or May to set a time to do this. I would like to hear from you guys, get your thoughts your opinions, maybe someone else can suggest a better place. This place makes it a four hour drive for me, hauling tail..... So you guys can tell at least I'm not partial.... |

Re: Texas Ride
It's too long of a drive for me from Wisconsin...
In the rules for Hidden Falls, there's no mention of golf cars... just ATV's and UTV's! I've been finding that more and more these days, and it's pretty much why my cart just sits in the garage... That might be something to ask about! |

There was a thread on this awhile ago. I live very close to hidden falls, but I leave my cart at the hunting lease year round now with plenty of trails and I don't have to pay. |

Re: Texas Ride
I have actually been to this park, it's very accommodating for all, miles and miles of trails, from easy and smooth, to tear your crap up and load it up on the trailer.
Camping for all, primitive to cabins with electricity and water. Took my honda xr 650 dirt bike, and my golf cart. My wife was able to keep in the vicinity, while I did some very technical riding. She was able to stay on smooth trails, while I acted the fool!! Once again, miles and miles of trails to fit everybody's skill level, which is one of the reasons that makes this such a great place, yes there are Jeep trails, yes there are side by side Trails, yes there are Motorcycle Trails, and yes you could honestly say there are many miles of trails that you can take your golf cart on without even once thinking about tearing it up, or hurting it in anyway. That's what I like about this place that fits everybody. Even the ladies that don't like camping. LOL the have to have a restroom. On a lighter note they keep their facilities very clean. |

Re: Texas Ride
You know Hookem, we can all stay at your hunting lease, and save everybody a bunch of money.
Maybe bag a pig in the process, and have an old fashioned barbecue. Now that would be fun..... |

Re: Texas Ride
Pigs you say? I have plenty of them running around the place, usually got at least 15 a night on camera at my feeder. I keep telling the landowner that once deer season is over we need to bring in some folks to help get rid of them.
