Probably won't be so busy after the Gator accident. A lot of people just aren't going anymore.

I'll be back up at the Campground the 10th-19th of September. If you're in the 'know', that is one of the best times of the year to go. It's a completely different experience when it's not very crowded and you have annual passes to all the parks.. Been too many times during July and holidays, never again on my own dime!

will be down the first week of Oct.... We went in June, the parks are very crowded but surprisingly the Fort was not. A lot of open camp sites. The weekends would pick up but by Monday was quiet.

Looking forward to Oct.... lots of decorations........

Just booked our Easter week trip for 2017. We didn't make it to the Fort this year. We went on a Disney Cruise in March. Then my bride and I went to Maui in June to celebrate our 25th anniversary. First trip without the girls, now 22 and 18. Looks like everyone made the lamps. Below is a picture of our setup last year at the Fort. We were in loop 600.

The place is awesome. We have stayed there 6 times since 2007.
We always go the week after Thanksgiving. not real crowded in the parks but all the Christmas decorations are up.
Still taking our 86 lifted Marathon gasser. Get some looks cause it's a bit louder than average, but no complaints. Son even took out Pit scooter this year (150cc with plate) he just leaned it against the back of the cart when we parked it at the bus lot or the beach area. Even left his Bell Moto9 helmet in the bag well of the cart and it was still there every time we came back.
Already have a site reserved for the same time next year. Hopefully we'll have a gas Club Car DS by then.

Heading back from the Fort now. We were lucky enough to get the same site we had last year, 602. The Meadow trading post is directly behind the bushes of the site. Minnie was very well received as usual. I just love the look on the kids faces when they see it. Both my daughters, now 23 and 18, had a blast riding around all week. We made a stop in Pensacola for the next couple days and will be heading home Saturday or Sunday. Below are a couple pics from the Fort. Not sure why the toe out looks so bad on the cart in the pictures. It's set correctly

Rolling into the Fort on the 25th of this month.
Got the custom built rear seat on the new to us DS finished.
Working on installing the inverter and strings of Mickey shaped Christmas lights my wife wants on the cart while we're there.
