No those are push rods. I see EC,Carrier, and ARC all sell the ARC rod. CPP used to sell them but I don't see a current listing.

Those ARC rods are works of machined perfection.

So just getting back into building this motor and have not done anything to it but disassembled it Lol. Just checking to see if it’s a good idea to rebuild it with the stock parts like pistons/rods and would it still be a great strong motor ?

So one of my cylinder got scratched by installing the piston :( so if I use a hone to buff the small scratches out do I have to upgrade to a .010 rings or should my stock rings still be ok ? The scratch is not deep just enough to catch your finger nail sorry new to this engine building

Scratches are tough to evaluate, especially over the internet. My recommendation would be to take your block in to a machine shop to have the bore checked. You can do it but it requires special tools and experience helps to identify how deep a scratch is.

In my experience, any scratch that can be felt with your fingernail is too deep. Normal wear marks are ok as long as the cylinder is not too far belled out or out of round. Usually a high hour engine will need an over bore to be right. Assembling an engine with a worn cylinder will not last long and the rings will wear and you will have low compression and/or oil consumption.

My rule of thumb is this.....New pistons & rings go with a newly machined cylinder. Old pistons with new rings go with a honed cylinder at minimum, but the cylinder bore must be within spec.
