Re: Club car precedent speaker & sub install
Do a search on here. There was a guy that started one but don't think he ever finished. The problem with any sub is there is really no place for the bass to resonate. Even if you use a sealed box or bandpass it will still sound odd as it is firing into open air.

Re: Club car precedent speaker & sub install
What do you think about this... I wanna put a 12 inch kicker sub in the spot where the engine cover on the precedent is.. I'm going to boils a little sub box with liegs and bolt it to the frame? Has to be better than the bazooka.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you strap your sub into?

Re: Club car precedent speaker & sub install
Any Marine battery should be fine as long as it has a good reserve capacity (RC), I think mine is 180RC. I believe I screwed some brackets/ metal straps to my underneath of the back dash and cut the excess screw off under the rear flip seat. I then ran the nylon strap through the metal strap and jacked up the back of the cart to give room to push the sub up in it and strapped it down tight where it wouldn't hand or swing. I ran a marine fuse block also under there on the side wall and ran all my 12v power wires to it with separate fuses for each item.

Re: Club car precedent speaker & sub install
Sorry to revive an old thread but can you explain exactly what I'm looking at in this pic? Just traded my clone powered EZGO for an electric precedent and did a search for subwoofer in a precedent and came across this. Is that a battery between the front and rear seats?
