That label on the motor says 3480rpm which isn’t much of a speed motor in my opinion.

I sold a set of used batteries a while back but left them in the cart to show they worked then went over them with the guy who bought them showed the voltage on the pack as well as individual batteries and how to take care and water them properly. I also kept all the receipts and paperwork, at five months old I would imagine the seller does too with warranty info. If your thinking about getting the setup at a minimum I would take a volt meter and load tester to check them all individually.

Is there a specific load tester for 8 volt batteries? I only have a 12.

I don’t have a good answer for that, I’ve only had one of the 12/6 testers in the past. If you have that I would guess you could test it on some known good batteries for a baseline reading. I would research that before hand though if I were you.
