Default RXV - I messed up. What do I need to fix this?

Let's just say a tree jumped out at me and the wet grass didn't let me avoid it. The spindle seems good. The left front tire will move properly when I turn the wheel. The right one (the hurt one) will move a bit.

You need a new steering rack. I got mine from ebay. It is a cheap copy of the original Ezgo part but it has worked fine for three years. Just search for RXV steering rack.

Ouch! Lets just say you need a new one then! You might could try straightening it but in the end I'd just buy a new one.

Is the steering rack the steering box?

Should I not worry about OEM? I assume this is what you wanted to reference.

The part in your link is what you need. It comes like the picture with the rack and pinion and the tie rod ends. That looks like an OEM part.

After you install the new part you will probably need to adjust the toe in. When you adjust it be sure and turn both sides equally to keep the rack centered.

I've ordered from them before and like their service. As you can probably tell, this has a spindle lift. The use is for work around a farm so I am wondering if this aftermarket part will be strong/good enough. I hate to spend over twice the amount if the aftermarket will perform as well as I need it to perform.
