Lithium with Bandit Motor
Is anyone running the Bandit motor with Lithium batteries? Would you please share your speed from the upgrade? My cart was doing top speed about 19 MPH with the Trojans. After I switched to Lithium, the cart is doing around 25 MPH as top speed. Wondering how much more speed I could gain with just the Bandit motor upgrade?

Lithium with Bandit Motor
You have to post a little bit more info on your cart. Year, tire size, type controller you have and model. Each of these play a factor in the choice of a Bandit upgrade for more speed.
Added: I see by reading some of your past posts you have a 2012 CC Precedent. Is this still stock other than the lithium battery pack? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: Lithium with Bandit Motor
It is a 2014 precedent with all stock parts. The tire size is 23".

Re: Lithium with Bandit Motor
Do You have the stock Controller with Speed code 4 programmed?
If so it may help although 25mph would be the maximum speed in the stock scenario using 23" tires and since you could not get there with Lead Acids it means the combination of Motor and Controller does not have the HorsePower required to spin the tires any faster. Depending how much HorsePower the bandit rebuilt can add it should go faster. My stock ADC motor, 18" tires, lithium and XCT 500 gets me to 28mph (my 6,500 RPM limit). |

Re: Lithium with Bandit Motor
Sorry oldbeefcake I could of sworn I read 2012 instead of 2014 on one of your posts.

Re: Lithium with Bandit Motor
No Worries. You are right. I had a 2012 cart before but purchased a 2014 later. Thanks all for the input and feedback. I will let everyone know after I get the motor. I'm still debating if I should send in my motor to Plum Quick or just swap one out from a local dealer to save the hassle of shipping it.

Lithium with Bandit Motor
You know if you have the money convert over to an AC motor and controller. PlumbQuick has a great deal on motor and controller with free shipping. With this set up you will have all the speed and torque you could ask for. They even give you a control to turn down the motor so even your grandkids can drive the cart.

Re: Lithium with Bandit Motor
Any update here? I am thinking of lithium's this year and potentially adding a PQ Bandit to the mix on an otherwise stock Precedent lifted on 23's.
