Default SOC is fake news.

So I decided to push my cart as far as I could before it became unusabe. After 33miles of flat out the SOC gauge read 32% and was down to 11mph. Keep in mind I have reprogrammed my cart to 6000rpm so most of the time it was full throttle. by 55% max speed was 22mph. At 32% I was sure I was dead withing a mile. Super happy with 30miles though just an FYI

timicon011...if you keep doing that..you will more than likely kill your batteries
prematurely....

For the well being of your battery pack...charge em every time you come home or for sure you will kill off your battery pack.

Your battery pack may endure the kind of treatment you gave yours..but not
for long...

Best wishes from a fellow ICON owner

Sorry my friend to burst your bubble....But....

....state of charge is not fake news...just ask bobbyb or scottyb..

Before my I40 wa delivered I had my dealer install this volt meter..
highly regarded here on BGW ...the on board volt meter will always read
.7v to 1 volt higher than the scottyb meter..

have a look

Forgot to include this article on how to properly break in new fla batteries

Best wishes on your new ICON

I think he is talking about the percentage ones. The SOC meters I find the best are the ones that read actual pack voltage that you then compare to a battery voltage discharge chart. Scottyb carts unlimited sells a good digital one. Best way to fact check the fake news that the OP speaks of.
