Default Switching from volt to leaf

My two 48V Chevy volt packs are done at 4 years due to use at hunting camp. Only able to get about 10 miles.
Now cart is strictly street. Want to get up to 20 miles. Nissan leafs seem the way to go, but what do I need to make the conversion. Will my new altrax XL 500 anp work with the 57volts or is there a bms capable of limiting the volts

62v is the max so you'll want some value less than that. Were you Volt packs on a BMS?

A 14 cell leaf pack is a good match to the Alltrax you have. If you go 14S2P or 14S3P you should have a solid performing pack.

Curious what killed your Volt packs? Any feedback?

Thanks!

Pac were not on BMS plus lithium batts do not like COLD or our very hot weather. Especially cold. Best hunting here is in coldest days, closer to freezing is best. Cart was outside during charging and use.

That'll do it. Still...4 years isn't too bad in those conditions.
