Switch f&r reverse-neutral-reverse 5 times (fairly quickly). It will beep a number for what speed mode it's in. Then turn key on and drive cart. It will beep out an error code for what it thinks the problem is. Obviously, the reverse buzzer must be operational for it to beep.

Hmm. Doesn't add up. You sure about those beeps? I'm in no way suggesting "replace solenoid" as a instant solution. If solenoid was total fubar, you couldn't get out of your driveway, or even near the end of the driveway.

But, those txts did have solenoids that were known to fail. I'm just saying "don't go throw parts at it" all parts monkey style until you have a solid reason to believe thats the problem. Look at the big terminals, they look nice copper color, not like tan "straw" color? No "blister" look on the black insulator where the meet the body/can of the solenoid?

Does the solenoid lick when the pedal is depressed and when the pedal comes back up? Put the cart on jacks and remove the seat to check.

when we jack the buggy up @ the rear, depress the pedal to run forward, we are getting 12volts to the motor!! this is a 36v motor would this be correct?
