Yamaha j38 engine swap to g14
Recently purchased a yamaha g14 that wouldn't run, just spit and sputtered. After messing with it for awhile I found the cart has been swapped with a j38 engine. I have the g14 ignitor, it has the correct ignition coil, but has the j38 flywheel that I know won't work with the g14 ignition. After looking at the pulsar coil its for a g2 and has been spliced for the g14 connection. Does this need to be replaced or will it work? Can't find a g14 pulsar anywhere. Thanks

Re: Yamaha j38 engine swap to g14
You might want to look at Smallblocks sticky on yamaha engine swaps and what is needed to run.
