Default Alltrax SR48500 Settings

Just making sure my settings are correct. My buddy has same set up stock controller and he is pulling away from me. Both CC DS 48v with PQ Bandit motors.
Here are my settings:
KSI ON VOLTAGE 16.0 volts
Under voltage 32.0 volts
Over voltage 62.0
Digital switch is checked
Fn1 not checked
Max motor amps 500
Max battery amps 500
Max forward 100%
Max reverse 50%
Throttle rate 12.5%

Under throttle settings
Set to club car
High pedal disable is checked
Curve is set to standard which looks good to me

Thanks
Bobby

For the SR control there is nothing beyond 100% amps and speed. You can set the throttle rate slightly higher to accelerate quicker but top end is determined by the cart not the SR controller.

Bottom line is no two carts are really the same.

Check for brake drag - the cart should roll easily when in neutral and tire pressure makes a big difference in top speed. Ultimately you guys could have different motors.

Your buddy may be getting more amps to his motor than you are. Wire gauges, wire conditions, connections etc can make a difference!

If I took a pic of his wires and posted it you would prob call the fire dept. all stock and we just found Detroit and bare wires.

I just was messing around with the controller and when I changed the max forward % that worked on both forward and reverse but when I changed the reverse % it did nothing to the reverse. Could I have something hooked up wrong?
