Put a high heat sensor in for fire and do away with the co in garage, you can put a co inside the door to the house if you want.

to be honest.....instead of trying to circumvent the alarm system.....why not put a vent fan at the top that will pull any and all gasses out of the building. Just need to remember to turn it on before you start charging the cart at night.
