Default Help with Wheels on 2010 Tomberlin EMerge

HI All, Im a newbie here and bought a 2010 Tomberlin. Put 215-35-12 wheels on, and tires, and they rub. (was told they would fit) Any suggestions how to lift the cart just for clearance without a lift kit?? I like the way it looks, however, I need less than an inch. Anyway to change the shocks to adjustables that would prob do the trick..What should I do for a quick fix?? Please help..

John

make 1"spacers for the shocks..or spacers for the wheels depending on what they rub on..

Just do some site seeing hear there are alot of different ways to to do it [must use steel ] all your doing is extending the shock bracket down an 1" or 1.5" depends on what you want...

you could stack a couple washers and make it clear if it isnt to much distance.

I'm not familiar with the Tomberlin suspension but if the cart does not use spring assisted shocks, adding spacers won't do anything for the clearance issue.
Where is it rubbing, front or rear?
If it is the front is it with the wheels forward or turned?

rubbing in the front only when turned hard to each side. No spring assisted shocks. Problem is with the offset being too great, the wheels stick out further, then hit the fender. The height and width of the wheel is the same as OEM..

Still unfamiliar with the Tomberlin front end but your only option is to raise the suspension with blocks or a lift kit. I have a similar issue with my cart at full lock position and fender contact when I hit a bump that deflects the spring.
If you post some photos of the suspension you'll get some ideas here, the members are pretty savvy with suspensions.

I have seen 13" radial wheels on the Tomberlin without jacking up the cart.

You can use 14" wheels on the cart with low, low profile tires without a lift.
205/30-14 tires are only 18.75" diameter, 1/4" larger than stock tires.
