Default Battery Evo Lithium Conversion

I recently finished up my Lithium Battery Conversion.
I started with what I thought was a completely stock 2001 EZGO TXT-PDS Sepex Motor with 6x bad trojan T-105 Batteries. with the batteries being on there last leg i was looking at upgrading to lithium.
I pulled the controller cover to check if the previous owner had the freedom chip installed cause the cart seemed to be kink of quick, turned out the controller was upgraded to an Alltrax dcx400. and wires were upgraded to 2 gauge
after I did a bit of research on the DCX400 i decided it would be nice to convert to 48v while converting to lithium.
after may hours of researching and comparing price/quality of lithium batteries I decided on the 48V 98AH 240AH MAX Discharge bundle from batteryevo.com (and also a larger solenoid for 48v) i was a bit skeptical at first since everywhere I looked/asked on the web i was told that i would need a higher MAX AH Discharge that what they had (240)
I completed the conversion and I couldn't be happier. I have the carts max speed clocked at 29MPH on a flat paved road. With any loose gravel the tires will spin. I found the biggest hill we have in my neighborhood stopped at the bottom and floored it to see if the BMS would flip. good news, I had plenty of torque and no BMS was flipped. I still have some wiring to finish up on. I will try and get some time to upload some photos form the conversion.
I planned on uploaded the Data from a neighbor hood cruise before the conversion and then the same route after the Lithium 48V conversion but the RS2 Cable took a couple days longer than expected and I was too darn excited to get the batteries installed I forgot the plan to upload the information.

Nice! The 240 Max draw is probably 240 Max Continuous draw. On my cart the biggest draw I've seen was 304 amps for a fraction of a second.

I'd be interested to see the time duration listed for your max draw.

Do you still have the stock motor? If the prior owner upgraded the controller and cables maybe he upgraded the motor too? What size tires do you have on the cart? I'm wondering because if you have 20" diameter tires then you're spinning the motor 5,700 rpm which is fine (6,000 is the limit normally). But if you have 18" tires then you're over 6k at 29mph.

Be careful if your cart is lifted too. Mine is lifted and with the lithium it weighs much less but has a higher center of gravity as a result. So it's less stable in turns.

Happy carting!

Good call I knew not to push it too far, I only went that fast while I was test driving it, after that I moved the max speed down,( I let my 7yo son drive the cart while we are golfing) cant remember to what % i set it to though, and I have been sure not to go fast down hills since I read about JohnnieB and his experience. I've started saving my pennies so i can get a newer controller that I can limit the RPM with, the max speed setting doesn't seem to control how fast it goes down hills.

Both Stock from what I can tell not sure if it was rebuilt though, looks like the controller was bought through D&D
Advanced D.C. Motor
Motor: P/N: 73124603 DE8-4001 36V

Tires are Stock size 18x8.5-8

Ill see if i can find time tonight to hook it up and take it for a spin around the block and i can upload the results tomorrow.
